We want to know what calms you down when you're stressed

Well, to be honest I have post tramatic stress disorder so I have to take blood pressure meds and I deal with a whole lot of anxiety. I work out, talk with friends, and eat well. It helps a lot.

I couldn't agree more. Deep breathing is the only way to calm myself down enough to think clearly. And a little peace and quite also helps.

True meditation, not the "New Age" version. Enough said.

Can I say yelling at my husband? Okay seriously, deep slow breathing and counting to ten! Stretching my entire body also somehow seems to really help. I don't mean Yoga really, maybe some yoga stretches like the child pose, but I just like to stretch out the muscles, it seems to calm my mind and release a lot of tension in me!

Honestly, I have some of the most hilarious people I've ever met as friends! And it just so happens they all have the coolest kids I've ever met too. A day, an hour, or even 10 mins with them can wash all my stresses away. Good people to go to is always a good deal. but I do gotta say that running helps me tons! My running time is my time to unwind and think about my day. Good or bad.
