Ive been working out for about a year, inexperienced for 6months and then learned the right workouts..I'm really consistent on my workouts...but the one BIG issue for me is eating healthy....I'm at a a good weight for my height ad I don't really plan on loosing any weight, but just rippin it up and tone my muscles..I sort of need help creating a really easy good health plan...How much calories I should take a day,how much protein cars I need,etc.. But I'm 17 so I rely on my mom to do the shopping, gotta keep it inexpensive... Would love the advice ladiessssssss(:

Join MyFitnessPal.com and get their food tracking app. The forum there has a ton of excellent info and advice.
Generally speaking if you want to actually add muscle you need to figure out how many calories you use in a day and eat a surplus over that, including protein/carbs within an hour of working out.

Try finding some blogs & following them! I have one and sometimes post recipes. I know a lot of other bloggers do as well. Feel free to check mine out-- it's pretty new though. Http://Keepingupwithemily.wordpress.com

I would say try to eat lots of vegetables and fruit. They're all very good protein carb foods without all the calories. Also try to eat wheat instead of white bread, it is a little more expensive but not a lot (1.70) try eating brown rice and things like that. A good recipe is stir fry. I add lots of vegetables and brown rice but less soy sauce to save sodium. Many recipes say two tablespoons but try only one. Good luck and eat lots of protein before and after a workout.
