Trip: Ultimate K2 Trek!

Gabe and I flew from Islamabad to Skardu for a two week trek to K2 base camp in Pakistan. It took about a week to get there, which meant 6-7 hours of moderate trekking across the Baltoro Glacier each day. The views were incredible, the air incredibly crisp, and the porters extremely friendly (and fast)! We arrived at Concordia base camp and continued on to K2 base camp. On our trek out, we stopped over at Trango base camp and met up with a climbing expedition team! It was a nice surprise because we also rock climb. We ate Ibex and crossed frigid glacier water...what an adventure!
