What a great climbing week. Although I was surprized that the Red Rock Rendezvous organizers thought it would be OK to send us to a wall with only 5.8s and 5.9s...thankfully Katie Brown took us on a slight detour to Cannibal Boulder and we top roped climbs in the more intermediate-advanced range. Good times! Will post more pics soon :)

Hey Juan,

Thanks, it's good to be back in the states! That's great you have some good work lined up. I will be very jealous if you head out to Yangshuo again soon. Did maria tell you she toproped that 13a at Lei Pi Shan with no falls on our last day? It was crazy! If you make it down to Vegas while we are there, we should definitely meet up for at least dinner. Climbing together for a day would be fun too, of course. Let us know when you know what dates you will end up being there and we can coordinate.

hey guys, welcome home?

well, i really would like to meet up with you guys for redrocks but i'm running into an issue of sorts. Last saturday i got an assignment to do some interpreting at a hospital and the assignment ended up turning into a 2 week gig working 16 hour days through the 13th at least. On the downside this means i might not be able to make to the rendevouz for some climbing, although i still really need to visit my family so i'm thinking i might head down towards the end of the week once i know the assignment is over and maybe catch up with you guys for dinner on a night or two? On th flip side, once i'm done with this assignment, if it does last till next Friday, i will be 4k richer than when i started and that ensures my reurn ticket to Yangshuo!!

I'll let you know as things develope, but im pretty much under lock and key at least till next friday. In fact this has been the first email i've responded to since i started this gig.

hope all is well with you guys, keep me in the loop and i'll do the same.
