Description

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a great method to train your cardiovascular system to handle the stop and go pace of many sports. Also it's shown to burn more fat than moderate intensity exercise because the anaerobic phase boosts your metabloism all day. Heart rates are calculated for myself (I'm 28). If your age is significantly different use 220 - age = max heart rate (MHR). Then multiply by the percentage stated to find your target for a given interval.
