In seated arm action we are practicing proper running form with our arms and hands. As we sit on the floor with our legs out in front of us we start with one hand right next to your hip with your elbow at a 45 degree angle, the other arm is raised and elbow bent at 45 degree angle with hand at chin to eye level and slightly in front of the head. As we run we will switch positions of the arms quickly as we run according to which leg is down and which is striding, we will simulate this sitting and we wil quickly switch our arms as we move from the "chin to pocket" position with each arm. Try to remember to run like this and you will notice a difference in your speed.
