Be yourself! when you like someone all you want is catch his/her attention, but if you overact or play a roll is not like you, and he/she likes a fake you, this ain't gonna worth it. So just be yourself!

When I was teen, I was scared of talking to guys lol my heart would race, palms would sweat and feel a little nauseous...all because one guy said one stupid thing to me once. My shyness as a result didn't get me anywhere. I just became more shy talking to people in general.
In college, it got better. I joined an international student organization and I challenged myself talking to guys and girls. 

Crushes are fun and awesome. Be sure the person makes you feel comfortable to be around. It's one thing if its nerves and you don't know how to approach him, it's another when you get to know em' and still feel uneasy.
