New Workouts while injured
Hey, im newbie to this stuff.
Ive recently done damage to my knee and am on crutches which is preventing me from doing my usual 'workouts'. I can pretty much just do sit-ups at the moment and im bored suggestions for something new to try?? Thnx :)
Lol. Does hopping count for anything? It is so frustrating having to just stop. Hoping to start swimming soonish
Thanks. Now is the perfect time of year for swimming. I thought about weight training too just for something different. I do Pole dancing so need to keep my upper body strenght working while im off
Have you tried doing light stretches?
My physio has given me a few stretchers and i dance too so i know a few as well. My flexibility is what prevented my injury being worse than.it is apparently. Doc appointment today went well im able to have time off the crutches each day :)
That's awesome to hear. In that case, I would say, to continue with what you've been doing so far. If you want, slowly increase on the exercises, that way you can recover faster. The sooner you recover, the more of your normal routine and exercises you'll be able to do.
I had s knee replacement can you suggest any exercise as I am putting on weight. .
Thats my fear Luca, so far i have changed my diet to next to no carbs lots of additional protein through the day. Stretching, weights and sit-ups. Il let you know how i go at swimming - its something that doesnt require too much effort. Can you put weight on your leg - maybe bike riding???
Hi Rickie, how's your knee doing? Are you able to do more stuff and move freely?
