ok so there are a lot of BS products out there that "scientifically" make you lose belly fat, and so on. the truth is you can not spot lose any weight, you can tone and tighten a particular body region but losing fat deposits doesn't work that way. The rule is last on first off. What that means is the newest fat deposits will dissolve before the older ones. Also there are areas of the body that store fat easier than others, more adipose tissues. such as stomach, thighs, arms. These will be the last places to lose fat deposits.

I agree with you, but I have a question: when you tone in certain areas, the muscle gain doesn't get rid of any of the fat? It just builds under it, huh?

your muscle builds on its self.  Think about a raw thick cut steak there may be some fat trapped in the meat but a bulk of it is around the muscles.

also sorry, building muscles does burn fat but not as much as people play into it.
