Sit ups .. push ups.. worked?

Push ups, none. Push ups is all upper body. Planks are the best thing for tightening the core, along with sit-ups and crunches.

mountain climbing is the best for losing tummy weight,, try it out sometimes.. :-)

With push-ups and sit-ups you gain more muscles than you loose fat,so in the end you gain weight.
