Guidelines to exercise?

I'm just wondering if I should be exercising everyday every other day Monday through Friday skipping weekend what should I do? I walk Monday through Friday for about 2.3 miles give or take. Any suggestions on new to this whole exercise thing, always been kind of lazy and never really needed exercise until now. I need to lose weight and get in shape for my twins who are about 2 months old. Please any help appreciated.

I usually do 2 days on 1 day off. I'd just adjust it around your schedule. If 3 days on 1 day off works for you that's great but you should have a rest day at least once a week or twice depending on what your trying to accomplish.

I agree that you should take atleast 1 our 2 days off because u have to remember just being human and doing everything you need to do on a daily basis takes a lot of energy too
