Hey everybody! .. I just wanted to start up this thread for anyone dealing with issues before, during, or after working out. Wether it be health issues, minor or major injuries making it hard, just somewhere to express the frustration of feeling weighted down (so to speak) while working out.

I myself have had breathing issues for years, yes there was a point in my life where I smoked for about a year, but thTs been years and years ago. To this day I get EXTREMELY winded and out of breath way to soon ... And folks im talking about 2 mins or so into a work out or run. I have been to the doc. They say everything has checked out fine but deep down I know its something wrong. It is extremely frustrating bc. While working out if I wasnt so winded so quickly I could be more productive, anyone else have this or any other kind of issue?

I did have the same difficulty when I started running..due to lack of cardio and asthma which I was cured,from8 yrs now..through homeopathy..n now I run 1to 2km at easethe best advice is do some yoga..n train your lungs gradually..then attempt walking or running..

How long did it take you before you could tell a noticable difference in your lung capacity and breathing?

Months, maybe weeks..lungs are a complicated organ,as long as you dont work it..it kept losing capacity..that why yoga is advisable or meditation..long sessions help to increase lung capacity then when its ok..walk then gradually..run..even if it takes time you will see results in the end

I have complex regional pain syndrome. Basically, I have nerve damage and deteriorating muscles in my left leg. For 13 years now.(I'm 30.) I also have atrophy in my leg, and my range of motion in my ankle is very small. Plus, it hurts to even touch, let alone walking, stretching, dancing.. I know I need to be doing water aerobics and yoga again, but it's so hard to stay motivated, especially when everything hurts so much. But I know if I don't get back at it I will just go downhill even farther. <

I have heart problems and it causes me to get very exhausted easily. And 2 years ago I started having joint problems where my joints would swell. I couldn't extend my knee all the way and my elbow wouldn't extend all the way either it'd pop everytime I moved it. I had excruciating pain in my foot to where it was hard to walk. I went to the orthopedic doctor and they took X-rays on my knee and foot and nothing was fractured. They drained my knee and it showed sign of infection. They took blood and my blood cells were supposed to be between 0-100 or something like that and they were 9870 (no I'm not exaggerating) my inflammation levels were supposed to be like 0-70 and they were 93.. They tested me for everything. Lyme disease test was highest form of negative before positive and I tested negative for arthritis. Then it went away. They still haven't figured out what's wrong yet but it flares up when I work out.

First off, Ive lost over 60 pounds in the last two years. I started losing weight hoping to gain more energy and get my health on the right path. Since I lost the weight some issues I believed would disappear through making such a dramatic life change for my health oddly enough have become scary and extremely severe. Its almost as if my losing the weight and making huge changes in my diet have triggered something. I dont know, but Im posting this not so much for adivce, but possibly encouragment and maybe a lik kind thought or prayer for those of us that live with these odd symptoms day in and day out!

So anyway, since the weight loss, I struggle with extreme fatigue and just dull lingering pains and feel as if I never slept when the dreaded alarm goes off at 5:45. I hit snooze until I finally push myself out of bed at 6:25, 6:30! My memory is terrible, not just average "I forgot where I put my keys." memory loss, but severe long and short term memory loss. ive forgotten so much I used to remember I learned in school like history dates, math, music notes and reading sheet music. I used to play piano and sing by reading the notes. Granted, I was no Bach, but it wasn't a struggle. I've lost memories and personal sentimental things due to it, and it can really get me down if I let it. I have had blood work done with everything normal except one liver function test being just below normal. I worry maybe my liver is not functioning normally. My dr referred me to a GI specialist and sleep study clinic. I've had a number of neroulogical tests as well, but still no clear diagnosis for my health concerns. Bottom line, I'm tired and exhausted and just want some relief and would love to hear a Dr say.... congratulations.......You're cured!!"
