Whatever your schedule allows. I work out before I go to work because it gives me energy and I work from 5p-3a. I've heard of others workin out after work, as it makes them tired. But the thing you want to be concerned with is your eating habits around your exercise routine more so than the best time to work out. That's what can break you; so its very wise to sit down, carefully view your free time vs when you can eat healthy. You'll do very well once you put the right regimen together that works for you.

So long as you eat right. I actually eat after I workout because I eat less. Mentally I tell myself, how can I eat a lot of food after such a good workout. So I tend to eat healthier & less food.
