hi! im new to this and need some.advice on whih dumbbell weight i should get for the workouts. or please let me know ehat you guys use. thanks!!!
I think it should be whatever weight you are comfortable with. I started in june using 3kg for curls etc and 5kg for tricep press etc. Increased over time to 5/6kg and 8kg. I was told last 1-2 reps should really push you. Good luck!
Theres this "one repetition maximum" rule. Lets say for leg press i do 235 lbs (which is my max, so that i can do it only once w/a great amount of pain), i take 75% of this and start to lift. This is w/any dumbells/gym machines. glad i could help
