Drinking water doesnt make you lose weight but its a good way to restrict calories intake. And its good for you to drink it :-)

Personally ive never liked seltzers because they are so dry and just nasty bitter.
Another option is looking up ways to naturally flavour your water. Soaking fruits and such. Beware that it spoils fast.
Explore a bit, you certainly have options... but do at least try and get your body used to plain water. Bottled water if the water where you live isnt... pure... or tasty.
A squeeze of lemon tends to make water more appealing to me, plus it reaps more health benefits
