I am starting to try and work out more, staring with some ab exercises because i know i can do those daily. I am not in very good shape but I am good at pushing myself physically. My worst is cardiovascular. I could barely run a mile in under 10 mins in high school and that was when I was active. I've been really inactive but I want to be able to run without losing my breath every 2 or 3 mins. Any ideas or workouts that could help?
Start with interval workouts. Walk for 2 minutes jog for 1, do 5 cycles of that and see how you feel. As you get in better shape you can adjust the intervals (eg. 2 min jogging 1 min walking) and lengthen the workout.
