I think first everyone should set a goal of what there trying yo lose

I really encourage people to focus on physical goals. Not the scale. It can be incredibly demotivating. Maybe set a goal like 3 pull-ups or focusing on the goals in a sport you do. I hate to say the scale can lie, but it's true. Especially If you're weighing yourself everyday. Unless you're overweight you can actually gain weight getting into shape (look into it!) :)
