Whats the normal heart rate when working out?

I know it all depends to height and weight but I'm really clueless where to start, like do I need to get my average resting heart rate or just observe how my heart rate is before work out? And whats the normal heart rate when working out? Like does it increase 10-15 from your resting heart rate

Im kinda OC about this since I bought a fitness watch with heart rate monitor. But I honestly dont know what to look out for.

Take 220- your age = x(max heart rate) You want to work out between 65% to 85 % of your max for a healthy person(if you have heart issues it is recommended to workout between 55% to 65% ) So take x times .65 and x times .85 to get your range. There is also a more accurate formula to calculate your heart rate range that factors in you current fitness level. For it take 220- age - resting heart rate = x Take x times the same percentages and then add your resting heart rate back in.
