Looking at becoming a personal trainer

I've been thinking about becoming a personal trainer. ..but I'm not quite sure what it all takes(obviously a good mind set and dedication, but thats not what I mean)...any ideas??

Hey becca! I am a ISSA Certified Trainer. I went through the online course. It is very useful if your looking into that path for a Career.

I'd go through NASM if I were you. Before I became certified, I asked the owners of multiple gyms what cert they prefer the trainers to have. They all mentioned NASM, amongst others. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Their programs teach you how to progressively train anybody, and there are tons of continuing certs to get if you want to hone in on a specific training, such as the elderly, mma or group classes.

I went to school for NSCA and i absolutely loved it, and if ur whole goal is making people healthy and happy while making money while doing it then definitely make a careerĀ  good luck and God bless!
