Bit of cardio in the morning is good to boost your metabolism throughout the day and then just focus on your eating! Thats my biggest advice.

I think you should start with easy exercises cuz you are new and you are just starting. first you need warm up quite well so you dont get muscule feber. Also you should start with really easy workouts like abs, squats and so. Exercise about 10 min max for a start. Im an expert so i know...
