Is working out everyday ok or am I suppose to get my muscles confused and work out every other day?
If youre starting dont work out everyday...because youre going to get tired...do it 3 times a week for a month or so, then move yourself to 4 and 5 times a week.
Rule I was taught was work out 5 rest 2.... And it was suggested to maximize things I work out 3 days rest 1 work out two days rest 1 and repeat. Beginners workout no more than 30 min a day. Intermediate no more than 1 to 2 hours. Advanced workout do what you need you know your body.
