i found out i lost 9 pounds yesterday i was ecstactic
I been working out every day n i been dieting...I'll lose like 3-5lbs n then gain it right back...idk what I'm doin wrong...I feel like given up to be honest!!
I only weigh in once a week, ever Sunday to be exact. And I look forward to it all week. It's become a great motivator. By the way, I pick Sundays because it helps stay in line over weekend and not binge eat.
I try to weigh in before i eat because i heard its more accurate and it is motivating because when i weigh in i get more committed because i realize how close i am to my goal weight
That's what I do too. Every Sunday I weigh in before I eat breakfast. It's more accurate and consistent from week to week. Been losing about 1 -2 pounds per week since I started doing it that way.
wow.. i dont loose that much because i looove pastries but im trying to cut that out my diet

They make red velvet ice cream?! I love red velvet cupcakes too! That's why we have our fitness community here; to keep us straight. That way we don't lose our damn minds and start dipping nachos into red velvet ice cream!

Im trying to get to 128 first
128 sounds good! I'm 202 right now but I'm 6 feet tall. I was 286 when I started. My goal weight is 185, so I'm getting close. I've been slowing down though because I've been lifting more lately to try and tone and build muscle.
Im 134 and u dont look 202 yr muscular

Yea, I exercise 6 days a week. Diet and weights are everything. The more lean muscle you have the more calories you'll burn. But diet is number one! I use an app to count calories. My daily limit is1600 calories, I've been losing at least a pound per week since I dropped to those calorie limits. But, a trick that helped me was to take it 10 pounds at a time. For example, when I weighed 286 my goal wasn't 185 because it's too large a number it breaks your confidence. My goal was to get into the 270's and then get into the 260's, etc.. Each ten pounds was a victory and that helped me not get down on myself or get fixated on the big number.
