Got lots of boneless skinless chicken, got fresh veggies like a big of carrots salad cucumbers and fruits bananas oranges...and while I was shoppin I had a protein bar for lunch which held 300 calories.
Sounds like a great grocery trip to me!!
Ive always heard to shop the perimeter of the store... Which typically means you hit the produce, meats, dairy sections then last if needed venture down the isles for the other items you need.
I like to hit the produce section first grabbing as much fresh fruits, nuts, veggies as possible. Then grab lots of meats (tilapia, chicken, salmon, ground turkey etc) , some dairy ( greek yogurt, cheeses, milk) I'll venture down the isles usually for popcorn, rice cakes, oatmeal and wraps. If Im shopping for me only thats normally what my list looks like. I also order some items online...
If its for my family, it varies.
