Starting this hole work out thing tomorrow.. im about to be 20 years old and i am an insulin dependent diabetic.. i dnt want to die young, i want to live a long life. And wanting to b ready for jamacia on my 21st birthday next year kinda helps with the motivation part. but what i was wondering is, does anyone know someone that is type 2 diabetic and lost enough weight to be able to stop takin shots?

How much r u return to lose? I have no idea what kinda goal to set for myself. I'm a size 18 I would like to go to a 14 or so

I applaud you for putting in this effort... And I know it can be done... But please keep in mind that it is a lifestyle Change... Not just working out...if you can change your eating habits alone.. That's 3/4's of the battle... Need help or a pick me up.... Let me know!

My husband was diagnosed with type 2 in may of 2007, he was 330 lbs. And had to take 2 different types of meds. Thru hard work and exercise, he is down to 210 lbs of muscle and no longer needs his meds to keep his blood sugar in check... So I believe it can be done with dr. supervision... good luck!

Start at something small so you wont get stress then when you start seeing the results then go for a big #

I just think your awesome!  You're keeping your health in mind and wanting to learn more. That puts you at the top of my book
