Hi everyone,

I'm new to this app/community but I took a moment to explore and it seems great! I have been weightlifting and into fitness for a few years now, but only recently have become serious about nutrition and taking my fitness to the next level. I hope to inspire others and be inspired in the process.

I agree!! It's took me a while to get this in my head and I've come away from the quick fix/crash dieting/can't be bothered exercising mentality.

Yeah, it's especially difficult when bad food choices are so easy to make without any second thoughts. But having goals and a deep passion for change has really helped!

Yeah once you've decided with your heart, committing to 'fitness is life' becomes so easy you don't have to think twice about the choices you're making, it starts to come naturally to make better choices, it's getting to this point that I think is the hardest bit. Developing asthma did it for me!

Exactly, it's a natural want that has developed over a LONG period of time. I can understand the asthma issue as I have seasonal asthma and it can and has been very hard to overcome in the past. I hope the best for you in your fitness endeavors though!
