Very new to this site. Ok I am 30 yrs old & weigh 285 lbs I have gained weight over the years and from having 2 kids and gaining lots of weight with both & not being active or watching What I ate. Recently I quit smoking Cigarettes, THEN found out I have asthma :/
Never quit smoking for more than two months, it's been about 4 now :)
So a week and a half ago
I started tracking my calories & cut back to a strick calorie intake, working out
2x - 3x's daily w/ swimming.
Protein shakes: green tea: I am Also keeping track of my waist, arm, chest, thigh measurements. My goal is to be 140 lbs not in 6 months. Really don't have a date, just want to make sure I learn and become more healthy & fit . I am going to weigh in on the 6th . Wonder if I have made progress in weight loss!  I know I have formed muscle...  Wish me luck.

Your story is much like mine but I quit smoking all most 2 years ago and had 4 kids so I know exactly what you are going threw and I wish you all the luck ... I am 34 5 "3 and 231 lbs I stared my diet about 5 months ago and I want to be130/140 I have no time frame ether I would like to lose weight and get health mind and body my weight inn are the 15 so wish me luck oh my name is Stacey

It's fantastic that you have a plan and it sounds like you have got a sensible goal to aim for. Good luck with it, take control and make it happen, you can do it!

PS, I packed in smoking about 13 years ago now, after being quite a heavy smoker. Really it is a ridiculous habit, I can't believe I ever smoked now. Well done for quitting!

I haven't been on here in a while. 
I got a fitbit in February.  Since then I have noticed I haven't been doing workouts on here , I have been getting out & getting my workouts where ever I can.  I do alot of trails and walking. 
I am 251.4 pounds since last Friday ....&   on Friday I get weighed again.  I am looking for fitbit users! But haven't had much luck!  I am am going to try and get a workout on here at least 3 times a week!

249.5 as of last Friday. I got tomorrow and get weighed again... worked out hard this week. Ate pretty good. Worked out a half an hour after each meal.

Keep up good work. I'm using my fitbit as well. Down 20lbs since February. 45 more to go.

Hello everyone I'm B 36 year on again and off again workout person new to this group. Joined this app to workout over a 5 months ago and did little here and there. I'm a trucker get tired but now I'm trying to stay motivated at least 3-4 times a week to get down 230. Now I'm 316 I hate it but I might have lost some because my shorts are not as tight since I started back working out. Any help for truckers is appreciated. I am a trucker all 48 states. Thanks and good to you guys goals as well!
