Very new to this site. Ok I am 30 yrs old & weigh 285 lbs I have gained weight over the years and from having 2 kids and gaining lots of weight with both & not being active or watching What I ate. Recently I quit smoking Cigarettes, THEN found out I have asthma :/
Never quit smoking for more than two months, it's been about 4 now :)
So a week and a half ago
I started tracking my calories & cut back to a strick calorie intake, working out
2x - 3x's daily w/ swimming.
Protein shakes: green tea: I am Also keeping track of my waist, arm, chest, thigh measurements. My goal is to be 140 lbs not in 6 months. Really don't have a date, just want to make sure I learn and become more healthy & fit . I am going to weigh in on the 6th . Wonder if I have made progress in weight loss! I know I have formed muscle... Wish me luck.

It's fantastic that you have a plan and it sounds like you have got a sensible goal to aim for. Good luck with it, take control and make it happen, you can do it!
PS, I packed in smoking about 13 years ago now, after being quite a heavy smoker. Really it is a ridiculous habit, I can't believe I ever smoked now. Well done for quitting!

I haven't been on here in a while.
I got a fitbit in February. Since then I have noticed I haven't been doing workouts on here , I have been getting out & getting my workouts where ever I can. I do alot of trails and walking.
I am 251.4 pounds since last Friday ....& on Friday I get weighed again. I am looking for fitbit users! But haven't had much luck! I am am going to try and get a workout on here at least 3 times a week!
Keep up good work. I'm using my fitbit as well. Down 20lbs since February. 45 more to go.
