I'm gaining weight instead of losing

So I've been eating foods like grilled chicken, brown rice, lots of veggies and fruits. Also I only drink water and lots of it since I'm a athlete( track, cheer, gymnastics) but instead of losing weight I'm gaining it(10 lbs). Can someone please help me and suggest a good diet and workout plan.

How big are your meals?

I eat 1-2 chicken tenderloins, 1 cup of rice, maybe half a cup a veggies. But I eat fruit for snacks in-between practices. But is there alternative foods I can eat other than seafood because I'm allergic

For me counting calories and tracking all my progress works best. It sounds like you eating good stuff just watch the amount of oils and sodium you intake. Too much sodium can make you retain water. Hope this helps!

Just always remember muscle weighs more than fat though! Just keep eating right and workout atleast 30 minutes a day & switch up the workouts weekly! You don't want your body getting use to same workouts all the time because it will eventually quit working

Cut down on calorie intake and increase aerobic exercise. One that works good as alternating between jogging and sprinting, 1min and 30 sec. Respectively, with no rest between. Go for 4 to 5 mins. Guaranteed!!

Many people gain weight when first starting a program, especially if they're building muscle. Muscle is much more dense than fat and is built quicker than fat goes away. I wouldn't be concerned with what the scale says and focus on how you feel and how your body is changing, clothes are fitting, etc. There are many thin people out there who are not heathy... Good luck!
