I'm new to all the technical terms. I never really understood the word "core". When I'm working on my core, what am I working on? What are the benefits of working on the core? Can I not do sculpting and others, but focus just on my core?

Your core is the middle part of your body. Your abs, obliques, lower back and also your pelvic muscles. A strong core is the base for a strong body.
