Getting Back On The Horse

I've been out of practice for about 3 years now and my weight has steadily increased. Granted I did have a child, but with my work schedule and other commitments and responsibilities my health as started to take a toll.
I'm really scared of going to the gym, especially alone,because everyone is really thin and in shape and I get looked at funny and it makes for an uncomfortable workout environment.
Does anyone have any tips on ways I can start to make my transition back to a healthy lifestyle?

I'm just like you! I've steadily gotten older and fatter after having two children. I started eating healthier and walking in August, and in January I bought a stability Ball, yoga mat, and weights. I've lost 27 pounds so far.

No gym required.

Wow,congratulations that is awesome. I know I have to push myself more even when I'm tired, but I will definitely look into at home workouts thank you
