My restibg rate iS 1400 do i have to eat that much everyday.

I am starting to count my calories never done it before.I think i might not be able to eat 1400 for my calories im wanting to loose weight so I'm scared to increase my food intake.My goal is to get a ripped six pack a few months from now & get my bmi to 18-19 in order to see the abdominal muscles & im 21 atm . Should i increase my calories or do what i have been doing regarding eating.I dont eat junk food or chocalate i eat fruits and vegetables and have a cal controlled diet.
