You also have to burn the fat that is covering your abs. You an do all the core and ab work in the world. But you won't see results until the fat is gone.
If you only do ab work, then you will have strong abs and nothing to show. So do some cardio too. You can expect results in 2 months if you dedicate yourself to a goo workout plan.
