Just trying to get serious

Just beginning trying to do some good research into what to do and not to do. I spent a lot of time when I was a teen eating the wrong things and doing the wrong nutrition/activity combo. Learned to love myself as I am but after so long of inactivity I want to shed the weight and be more willing to go out and do what I like and hope to do.
Goals are:
buy a scale
Stop munching wrong
Be able to run for decent lengths

Long term:
Learn to mountain climb
Base jump
Rock climb

Great to see you setting goals that you hope to achieve I think that's one of the most important parts of beginning good healthy habits. Wish you the best of luck.

The nutritional stuff is all kinds of overwhelming, hopefully it gets easier
