The next day pain after working out....are you supposed to work through it or let your muscles rest? I've heard both so I want more peoples opinions.

When switching to snow tires does the asymetrical tread pattern make a difference on ice traction....sorry couldnt resist ;)

That soreness is called DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). It develops from microscopic tears in the muscles used. Those tears need a little time to heal. You can feel safe in doing some aerobic training and stretching of the sore muscles but don't do another weight training day (or whatever specific exercise made your sore) until 48 hours has past (every 2 days). You may feel sore for more than 2 days but your body will adapt. If it was aerobic training that made you sore, vary the duration, type and intensity of training to allow for recovery.
