I just thought I would share a possible goal here.
I have never been too active with anything, however always participated. I have come to a place, after having back surgery, where I am focusing more on bettering myself by not limiting or restricting myself to things I have before. I had surgery in 2013 and have attempted twice to exercise to strengthen my lower back. Both times I had good intentions, but lost interest after about 3 weeks. I have been actively achieving movement constantly since Nov 12th, 2015, with a regretted one week break in between during Christmas. Since, I have maintained doing yoga daily, attempting to up the ante each time I can. It might not be much, but if I can get at least one morning and one night routine going, I'll be set. I've noticed that my intentions will be to do one routine, and I end up finishing 2+, and I would like to get to a point where I can manage my time properly enough that I can get back to jogging.
Basically, my goals are to establish and maintain an active lifestyle, and to strengthen not only my back, but my entire body and mind. So far, I have to say, it's working. I'm noticing definition and stamina where I didn't before, along with several other noticeable changes.
Most of the yoga routines I do are casual in difficulty rating, but I am pushing to go far above and beyond that. I'm curious to see where this journey takes me!
