First time exercising in 6 months

Hey guys, so I'm not entirely new to the skimble platform, but it is the first time that I say hello on the forums. I'm starting to exercise for the first time in 6 months, so I'm hoping that skimble will help me get active again. I'm a bit of a serious gamer, so exercise is an important priority for my well-being. I'm also starting to experience lower back pains due to sitting at a desk a lot, so I need to work on my core. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.

Hey Johan! I was out of the gym all of last year through the present due to some medical challenges, so I can relate! Fortunately, I stayed mostly on my diet plan, so most of the bulk I feel is muscle that needs to be tightened vs actual weight gain. I find Skimble very helpful in getting me slowly revved and toned enough to go full bore at the gym. Great that you've found your way back! Taking your return slowly, but effectively, wikk never steer you wrong!!

Thanks Calvin. Do you have any bits of advice for deciding on a program? Do I just start with something and ramp it up as I become comfortable?

Hey Johan. I think you should think about what your goals are. What do you want to begin with? Then choose a program that will help you reach that goal. That way you have a set plan and don't just jump all over the place.

Do 30 minute workouts every day and increase your time gradually to a 90 minute workout!
