Your Motivation to start workout

25 May
Every day that I get up without pain is the greatest motivation for me. I have spent a great deal of my life not being able to train due to being injured and the long recovery that followed, therefore simply being able to train is a privilege to me.🙂

That's such a great goal! A lot of people get stuck on looking like the models on magazine covers, and while that isn't necessarily wrong, I think the fitness industry has done a lot of work to make people think that looking like a Greek statue means healthy, and anything less isn't.

Exercise, when done well, is an excellent tool boost your health and longevity. Being able to move properly and pain-free no matter the age is a goal of mine. When I retire, I want my independence. I want to be fit and healthy. Having big muscles won't matter if you have a shot knee.

One has to look at the overall picture.

I believe that the body is a temple of God and as such, we have to take care of it. Being active has many benefits too. Done in moderation, it promotes health and longevity. What one sows, one reaps. And reaping the benefits of exercise at an older age is a good motivator for me.
