Tough Mudder in 40 days (new user)

I am a new user.

My current weight is 215. Down from 231 just a month ago when I signed up for Tough Mudder Kentucky on a whim. Race, the first in my life, is in 40 days.

I recently turned 39 in August which inspired decision to do Tough Mudder.

Goal is 189 lbs or less and greatly increased stamina and core strength between now and Oct 20th.

I've always wanted to do the tough mudder but can't get my friends to commit.

My sitter in law is getting ready to do that too her hubby does them when ever he can about 2-3 a year all over I would like to try but Im not sure if I can yet
