I am also a beginner and would need support i want to lose 50 lbs also
I started just over a year ago. With almost 300 workouts under my belt i can honestly say that the best tip i can give is:
Be consistent and regular with your workouts. Don't worry if its a 5 min workout or an hour. It all adds up. Most of my workouts are less than 15mins and i am in the best shape of my life.
Even if you only have a short time to work out do something. Anything is better than nothing.

Hi! My name is Katy. Today is ny first day too. And whew, I'm so outta shape! I just had a baby and need to get off this weight! I would love to lose about 50 pounds. I am the worlds worst about working out really hard.. for one week and then losing all motivation. If anyone has the same problem, maybe we can motivate each other. Follow me and I'll do the same!
Welcome aboard and congratulations!! Believe it or not you did the biggest thing by making the decision to change your lifestyle everything else is icing on the cake! You will find support here and the good thing, everyone is different abd in different places and stages of their changes so there is plenty to rely on.
My only suggestion in addition to the great advice you've already received is to break your goal into smaller short term goals. That way you're not just concentrating on the 50 but your first 10. Once you reach that then you're ready for your next 10 and you KNOW you can do it!!
