Try some apples and celery with 2 table spoons of peanut butter. Less than 250 in calories which is easy to recover from.

Non-fat Greek yogurt is a good idea

you wont put the weight on if your total calorie burn per day is higher than total consume.. id limit late night snacks to maybe protein shake, nuts or something like yogurt

Generally, eating late at night doesn't help when dieting because your metabolism slows down when you're about to sleep or actually sleeping.

So the best snack to eat is nothing, water, or tea.

An entire can of drained and rinsed green beans has around 60 calories. Top that with a huge glass of water and a little seasoning and you wont be feeling bad about a big late night snack.

Try not to eat too late. I don't eat after 8pm myself and that really helps :-)

I got this midnight snack from Fitness Magazine (the best mag eva!) they suggest: an English muffin with almond/peanut butter and a pear slice. They gave nutrition reasoning but idr it; feel free to google it!

Don't eat late at night☺. If you are hungry and you can't sleep eat some fruit(apple, orange) or drink some cup of tea(green tea). That is my advice.

I'd suggest that you try your best to avoid late night snacks. It's unhealthy for the system to go to bed on a full stomach. Leads to gastric issues and many other problems.

Non fat cottage cheese with some tomatos slices. (Cottage cheese is a dence protein, meaning your body will take longer to break down. You could also eat a oatmeal or carrot cake  (cliff bar) these are a complex carb. So with those two snacks are pretty good choices.

I would try to stay away from eatting Fruit right before you go to bed, nothing super wrong with it, just your ramping up your glucos intake. Like im saying nothing wrong with fruit just your body is going to burn though that intake really fast (even if your asleep, your body uses and burns pretty crazy amounts of cals in the night.) So im i guess what im saying what else are you going to have to eat when your body notices the sugar (glucos) burns it up. Your body will then look for other means of fuel

Yes your metabolism slows down but your body will still pick and choose what its going to burn fast and slow.
