Also care to eat 2 hours before you hit the gym so you won't feel stomach aches during exercises esspecially if it's a high intensity workout . Use my fitness pal also to count the calories intake and burned ones.

Meals with a good source of protien are ideal after a workout. I usually make my own salmon and tuna salad after working out. Carbs are best consumed before a workout i believe.
