Individual workout history/log.

Please add history to individual workouts. It would be helpful as I keep track of what weight I am lifting for different workouts. I know workout history exists but if I haven't done a workout for a while I would have to keep scrolling through until I find it.

I would love to be able to click on a workout and have a "log" menu. Here I could see dated notes of my previous sessions for that specific workout.

Thanks😻

Please can you add distance as choice for creating workouts? For running/sprints it's better than time. Thanks☺

A setting you don't want notifications of anyone you follow. Including new ones you follow. Would be nice.

How about not getting notifications when people have a conversation in the comments of a workout I liked? I want to like workouts to encourage fellow members but unless I comment I don't want notifications about comments... That discourages me from liking completed workouts

I know it's a long stretch. But chromecast support if possible would be a great thing.

Thanks for the suggestion. We really want to add Chromecast support, but the way they did it is really hard for us to implement. There were some rumors a while back they would be improving the integration and if that happens we will try to get that on the roadmap.

Oh ok. Thanks

FYI, we have released a beta version of our workout player on the website. So, you can cast the website to your Chromecast now. It's just a start, but we plan on improving the website workout player if enough people start using it.

Hello guys! 😊 I'd like to report an issue. Not a big deal, but I'm curious if it's possible to improve this aspect.

This app is a great tool, I love it and I always recommend it to everyone I know. It's got so much better since the introduction of "collections", I can't even think of the right words to say thank you for listening to our prayers!! lol 😺

Although some of us are facing an issue.

A certain user has been very active on here a while back, creating plenty of workouts etc. but then at some point, because of reasons, decided to quit the community: changed settings to "private profile" and unfollowed us all.

So now we can still "play" some of this user's creations, those we have in "liked". But we can't access them from "collections". Why is that? It makes it all very confusing.

There are some wo's of this now-private-user that I had just added to a collection, without liking the wo, so I understand I can't even see what the exercises were about. But other wo's I still can view and start from "liked", only not from a random collection.

Can this be fixed?

Can it be something like we automatically "like" a wo by adding it to a collection of ours?
At least from now on...??

I think that would make sense, or maybe there are reasons for not making it work like that? ❔

My questions are towards my fellow skimblers too, I'd love to see what others' opinions are. 😊

Hi Mihaela - thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looks like having previously liked a workout allows you to get around our permissions check :-) Can you let us know what user this is or one of the workouts that you have liked? We are looking into making all of those workouts available again.

Hello. I like so much this application but for some reason i feel less motivated. I would like if you add an option to see  how much points we can collect from each workout. And a weekly points target so it motivates us to complete that target! Thank you

Be great if men couldn't post in the women's forum and vice versa. I had some sensitive issues I wanted to post about it and don't want some well meaning man to post all over it. If you look in the forum men post in it all the time. It's kinda annoying.

I think it'd be beneficial to have a rep range when creating workouts.
And have RPE percentages (1-10 scale) rather than objective terms for effort.

For example
Bench Press
8-12 reps.
8RPE.

Then again, the workout creator could be done over with reps/sets for non-circuit workouts.

I'd like to see less spam in the forums. It's getting to be a regular thing, some fake account will resurrect a topic from three years ago so they can post a reply that at first glance looks genuine but always reads weird and is just an excuse to post their link they always include.

I'm keen to use the app with chromcast. How do I access the beta version?

To do workouts with Chromecast, access the full website (www.skimble.com) from your computer, log in to your account, and then browse to the workout you want to do. If you are using the Chrome browser you can easily cast the entire tab to your Chromecast.

Hello there! 😊This is just an idea. It would be awesome if you put a symbol or something like that on those skimblers profiles who has done more than 10000, 5000 and1000 workouts. Maybe a golden, silver and bronze star Idk.

Hello,

Long time user of the app.  I've tried others but always seem to come back here for many reasons.....

I have a suggestion to your search engine.  Currently you can filter based on the type of workout you want and the amount of time; but I don't see a feature where you can search or sort by date.  I sometimes receive notifications of new workouts and cannot view them at the time, but when I can, I sometimes find it challenging to find them.

Thanks.

Guys, I've emailed you at support@skimble.com but apparently you're working on other issues/improvements right now. Decided to post on here as well, since what I'm talking about is privacy related and it's been months now.

"Private profile" setting doesn't work.

It says if I set my profile as private people won't be able to see my profile unless I'm following them. Well, unfortunately that's not how it works.
I tried setting my profile as private and unfollowed everyone: they weren't able to access my profile anymore, but they were still able to see my posts in their feeds, like and comment. Why? This is exactly what I was trying to avoid.
From what I know, only people who I used to follow could see my posts, but it's still not what the "private profile" option promised me.

Thank you for what you're doing and what you've already done for all of us.
But please, in order to make this a better app, don't underestimate the privacy of your users.

Update: the bug has been successfully fixed! THANK YOU

The ability to have the workout from Workout Trainer be logged on my Samsung Gear Fit2 exercise log. My calories burned never get logged. I have to run the exercise app separately to get my values calories burned for that session.

Please delete my account. You have been ignoring my many email requests to do so for a while now. After searching the internet ive learned that this is not uncommon at all. I get the strategy to keep users on your service by denying them account deletion. Make it impossible to delete your account without contacting support@skimble.com, and then just ignore the emails you get. Then after a while the user will feel defeated, give up, then after a cool off period maybe start using the app again. I don't agree with this method, I find it nefarious and disturbing. But that's just my opinion.

At any rate here is the link to the forum I found where one of your representatives recommended that I post my account deletion request here, on this particular forum. Stating that this is the location that you actually pay attention to deletion requests. which once again, is something that I find disturbing.

https://www.skimble.com/workout-trainer/forums/posts/search?q=How+to+delete+your+account

The fact that I need to post my deletion request on a public forum is highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and again, downright disturbing. And as the suggestion box part of this post: I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU ALLOW USERS TO DELETE THEIR ACCOUNT PRIVATELY BY ANSWERING THEIR EMAILS SENT THROUGH YOUR SUGGESTED METHOD OF CONTACT.

I hope that this post actually gets read by someone at Skimble capable of deleting my account.

Is it possible to create a tab in the forum to allow people to filter out just the threads that they watch?!  I can be difficult to find them in the sea of all the posts on the forum.

Second request: please delete my account. I've filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau about how My deletion requests have been denied so far. I'm posting on this public forum because that's what your company representative requested at the following link: https://www.skimble.com/workout-trainer/forums/posts/search?q=How+to+delete+your+account

If Skimble won't let you delete your account, it's my opinion that this should be made very clear during the account creation process.

And I would again like to stress how inappropriate, unprofessional, and how incredibly uncomfortable it is to be required to post an account deletion request on a public forum.

Delete my account.

I want to unsubscribe my skimble account please help me

22 Jan
I've filed a complaint with the BBB because they won't delete my account or contact me back. I suggest you do the same. Chances are they won't respond to customers unless enough formal complaints are made with the Better Business Bureau.
22 Jan
its really not that hard to cancel lol
22 Jan
I agree that when you click "delete account" it should delete your account. However it won't let you. It says "your account has too much history. contact support to continue." then you contact support with 20 emails, file a formal complaint with the BBB, wait for several months and still haven't gotten a reply from Skimble, or had my account successfully deleted.

Hi,

I found it a bit annoying that a workout stops when the screen on my phone is locked. When I´m out and runing or take a swimtraining, I've discovered many times that whwn I returned to my phone afterwords, the workout has stopped after 2 minutes and the rest is still to go eaven if I made it. I usualy have to have to phone to be open with screen on to have the android app continue counting down. When swimming for instance I don't have the phone with me and it's disturbing to have it with unlocked screen in the bag. Why is that so?

20 Feb
Sounds weird Heiko, i never experienced that problem through all app versions and on two different Samsung phones
20 Feb
I've hade it on different Phones.

We can log an activity on Skimble, but it just permits to enter the date.

What about entering other data, as for example the duration?

If a workout is about repetitions, it makes sense to add the duration of the workout while logging a workout we did in the past.
