Is it better to eat before or after you work out?
It really depends on what time you workout. I mean if you going to workout at 5am in the morning after is obvious choice. But if you going to workout at 5-6pm then make sure u at least a good breakfast. Then after you workout make sure u have a good protein source post-meal.
It's personal preference on how your body feels. I feel better working out with less in my stomach so I'll do a light snack of some fruit maybe, or a shake before the workout if I'm really hungry, and then I'd eat my meal after. Test and see what works best for you, every body is different.
Someone on here told me for more engery to work out.. eat a lot of protein before. And after eat low carb foods like oats..fruits..meats
Carbs are your fuel, so carbs before, unless you're trying to loose some serious weight.
After workout you should eat protein and potassium, for muscle recuperation.
