Hi, Is there a way to pause a workoutschedule so that I can take a break from it where needed? For instance, I've just started a 4 week schedule but at the end of next week I'm away with work for two weeks and wont have the time or energy to continue these workouts during those weeks. Would I be able to stop the program and resume once I return?

Also is there a way do completely download a workout/routine to my phone so that I can still do a workout and see the videos when I don't have access to the internet?

Hi Oliver, have no fear if you let your workout program lapse! There is a handy Reschedule button that will automatically reschedule all your consequent workouts with the appropriate rest days.  Just be prepared to start the workout when you hit the Reschedule button, since it'll start on that same day.  Unfortunately we don't have an offline mode for our workout programs, but we'll be sure to add that to our Feature Request list for you!

@Connor, if you create a workout, it's available to all Skimblers!  Once you create it you can check out the URL on the website at www.skimble.com or share it via your mobile phone (to Facebook, Twitter, or email it to someone).

@Kenzaburo, unfortunately that functionality isn't available right now, however I'll add your suggestion to our Feature Request list for you!

I made and saved a workout, but I'm currently the only one who can access it. It's supposed to be a fun challenge for others, and it's easy for me, so this is no good. How do others access my workout? If it helps to know, it's called "OPP Stamina Standard."

Glad I am not the only one Clive!  I searched all through the forums and every tab I could find.  Points are cool, but other programs give discounts on stuff on their site or a special badge or something.  Not that it that big of deal, I just hate having a "carrot" dangled in front of me and not knowing what its for.  LOL

Can I create a new workout from the web site or do I have to use the app?

Thank you in advance!

You have to use the App to create a new workout...........but it is a requested update to create the functionaiity to do this on the web. It would be easier I think.

This may be a silly question, but how do I 'like' a workout? I tried the FB like button, but it still says I haven't liked any workouts.

It's okay, I found it on my phone. I thought I read that you could like workouts on the web, but I can't see how.

Hello, I want to get six packs, yes I know its not that simple and I have to watch what I eat etc.

I'm thin (68kg for 1.77m) and I just purchased the pro version 3 months and the 6 pack program. Any hints at where I should start? Should I just use the 6 pack program over and over until I am satisfied with my abs? Which other excercices should I do? I am not a very active person, I sit infront ot the computer most of the day and go for a walk about an hour a day.

Thanks in advance! Love your app

What does the thumbs up on workout info mean that has a number next to it such as 800 or 4k? Does it refer to calories? What does the "k" mean?

I believe the thumbs up is 'like', and 'k' therefore is shorthand for 'thousand'; so 4k supposedly means 4,000 people like the workout.

@Kara and Clive, points are just a fun way of tracking how active you are each month.  We have leaderboards so you can track how you rank with your friends, nearby Skimblers, and the world! Also if you log in to our website at www.skimble.com you can see how your points line up each month to determine if you were more or less active than the previous month(s).  Hope that helps!

@Susan, just go to the workout on the website (e.g. http://skm.me/sw/2ZqA) and check the right sidebar where it says Share.  The Like button is greyed out, next to the Facebook Like button, until you click on it to Like it. Check out the screenshot of the Share box!

Okay, I found the button.  For those of you with the same question here is the answer:  Go to your icon in the app for your account; on the top tap "Created"; next, don't read the text that says to create a workout go to the workouts section -- this is a red herring, but instead that big long green bar that says "add a new workout" is, in fact, a button and not just a coloful heading.  Well well.  Anyway, tap it and you are off to the races.

Now my next question: say you want to modify a workout.  Is there an easy way to insert a new task into the middle of things without having to manually adjust every subsequent task?

Is this app really meant for people over 18 because I'm only 15 but I do an intense year round swimming program that does 9 practices a week near 2 1/2 hrs each and 7,000 meters a practice. It has greatly helped my strength and endurance in the pool but I'm wondering if I should be using it?
