Modified Exercises

I have a problem with my knees and can't do jump action exercises for too long without the knee either giving way of locking out straight, (I have improved my strength in this area with squat exercises but still its an issue with jumping movements), I have found modifications for most exercises but how do I modify a frog jump exercise? I've tried doing the full version and my knees can't cope with it and the exercise is part of an abs routine I am doing.
