holding stomach in works?

Hello. I have been wanting a flat tummy and i workout everyday. Especially abs workout and leg raises. I read somewhere holding your stomach in all the time can get you close to your target. How true is that?

If by holding you mean flexing then I could some see how that works because it'd ingadge the absvall the time but I'm not positive its something you'll have to experiment with (also while your working out its better to flex your abs as you do crunchs and etc) :-)
