What type of protein supplement are you taking?
Pure green protein. All plant proteins / amino acids. Like the 'full disclosure' label with nothing hiden as proprietary. I will check out the other plant based mix mentioned in this thread as well.
Depends on your goal and when you take it. To build lean muscle, whey protein is the best. It's the fastest absorbing protein so best taken right after workouts. Eat casein protein (dairy based) right before bed. Casein is slower digesting, providing a steady flow of protein throughout the night. I'd recommend cottage cheese. Soy I am certain is almost toxic to humans over time, so I'd cut that out.
