Need Some Positive People

Anyone interested in being positivity buddies. I was short 7lbs from my goal weight loss goal for the summer and could always use the positivity, and the nice kick in the butt to keep at it this fall. I'm currently 222lbs and want to be below 200lb for new years. Yes I know it's a fairly 'easy' goal but I rather take baby steps than huge strides and burn myself out too quickly. I'm sure with dedication and persistence I could pass my goal before that, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes :)
So ya... Lets be positive and motivate each other! :D

LET'S DO IT.I'm in the same situation as you. I tried to reach 200 by the end of the summer but now I'm stuck at 215 and now I feel discouraged.

Great!!! I can be that. Today is the first day that I start being a vegan for a month.  I have been a vegetarian for almost 7 years. I wanted something new. I want to cleanse my body and lose weight.

That's fantastic my best friend is raw vegan and she is so happy and healthy I wish I could do the same my choices in food are often bad BC I am addicted to bacon and cheese I can't find much in veggie options to satisfy my cravings ! Establishing good habits is my biggest hurdle. I think the key is working out and eating right everyday but I'm so lazy positive motivation is what I need !

Congrats for the realistic goal! That's ten percent of your body weight in four months. And the difference will show! Don't feel bad about not going faster. Remember why you are doing this. If you love yourself, don't impose too much struggle upon yourself. I am sure you will have that much more fun and keep motivated more easily.

Thank you! I figure take it a little at a time and I'll be less likely to rebound. After all it took years and two pregnancies to gain this weight. Expecting to just loose it all super fast is just unrealistic. I just want to be healthy when everything is said and done :)

That's amazing!!! Good luck! I eat a lot of vegan meals now but I'm still an active meat eater. It's super healthy for you though and great for the environment.

What I've learned is that is when you keep your goals realistic, your more likely to stay in the game rather than these quick fixes. Keep it up!
