I saw your other post, and according to it, you already know how: body building!
It's as you say. You need to grow muscles by eating more protein, which will give you the extra calories needed to work out, mostly with weights.
I am looking at a similar plan, but first, I am going to get in shape for a couple of months. I have been stretching and doing cardio, so when I am ready for weights and strength, I will be able to do it. And changing my diet to boost the protein will not happen overnight. You might want to start by getting generally fit before the actual weight gain regimen. Unless you are already fit, of course!
