did squats & a plank challege yesterday .& now my back n thighs are sore.
is that normal?

Yes! Pain is weakness leaving the body I always say :) keep pushing urself and it'll get better as time goes by ;)

Check with your posture while working out. Because wrong posture can also cause unnecessary pains.

Yes, the soreness is normal. But part of that soreness might be wrong as it might be due to poor form while doing the exercises. Look up the proper form for each exercise you are doing – Skimble doesn't do a very good job at telling you the right way to do them.

Also, you might be doing a little too much for your current fitness level. But not getting sore the next day usually means you are not doing enough.

The soreness usually stops after you do some stretching and wake your body up. In any case, it should subside after a few hours. If it lasts the day, then you either overdid it or you have poor form.

Oh, and before you lose your motivation because of this, understand that the first few weeks are the worst. Your body will get used to this and the day will come when you will actually like that soreness.
