Need some tips to gain some weight and muscle mass

To really bulk up u supposed to like 8 meals a day but that kinda ridiculous. I use a whey protein everyday and a protein shake between meals

I tried to gain weight by eating much fat, but it didn't work. Now I eat much  protein and work out every day. I gained 5 kilos the last 3 weeks.
